Who can benefit from Checks By Phone?
The Checks By Phone service is best suited for businesses that accept one-time payments from customers and would like to be able to take the customer's payment by check via phone or fax. (If your business processes recurring customer payments, have a look at our PreAuthorized Checking service).

How does Checks By Phone work?
Accepting a customer's check over the phone or fax can be easier than accepting a credit card. The steps are simple:

• Ask the customer for their bank routing number, account number, and check number (all of which are printed at the bottom of every check).
• Forward the information to our office via fax or e-mail using our Customer Information Sheet.
• We will then print the checks and, once processed, deliver them to your business for immediate deposit.
• Depending on the volume of checks, Payment Helpdesk may deposit the funds directly into your bank account.
